the balky mule is sam from crescent's solo project. sometimes beautiful acoustic songs, sometimes quirky electronica, sometimes both together. there will soon be mp3s on this page so you can hear for yourself. as well as crescent, sam has played in most of the good bands in bristol at one time or another, including movietone, flying saucer attack, the call-in-six, mylo clock and the pockets, the pickle horses, many fingers, wigwam, minatour shock, i know i have no collar and probably a million other bands you've never heard of.
